Coffee machine riser stands
A short repeat run in PETG, printed in batches of three, finished and posted direct to buyers. Straightforward geometry, but the value was in consistency: every unit had to match the last, because they were sold as a product rather than a one off.
Replacement parts for things no longer made
The most common single request. An obsolete bracket, a discontinued clip, a handle that snapped and cannot be bought. Usually arrives as a photo and the broken original, gets measured, modelled, printed in PETG and posted back with the file included.
Display pieces printed in sections
Models larger than the build volume, split at seams chosen so the join does not land somewhere obvious, doweled for alignment, then bonded, sanded and finished so the seam disappears. The design work in deciding where to cut matters more than the printing.
Prototype iterations
Two or three versions of the same part across a fortnight while a design settles. Priced per iteration rather than as a package, because most people need two revisions and should not pay for five.
Small production runs
Ten to a couple of hundred identical parts, with the profile recorded so a repeat order months later matches the original.
